I’m a photographer based in Houston, TX that specializes in sophisticated wedding and high school senior photography.
As a Houston senior photographer, it is refreshing to capture senior pictures for guys. Most clients for senior pictures for guys choose to have their sessions near downtown Houston. When Jaxson asked if I would take his senior photos at their family ranch outside of Houston, Texas, it was a definite yes! Jaxson had a specific vision for his session. It was something I had never done before and I was super excited. So one day in April 2022, the RGP team packed up and headed to Columbus, Texas to The Raisin ‘L Ranch. It was a total blast and I am really proud of how much we were able to pack into one senior session. Don’t stop your scroll friends. At the end, you will see who made an appearance to celebrate Jaxson.
Jaxson and his family have a special place in my heart. Our mom’s have been best friends since they were kids. They were raised up together living down the street from one another. It only made sense then that we would grow up together as well. So when we arrived at the ranch, we were welcomed with open arms. We felt right at home and it was fun hearing stories and reminiscing about past times our families shared together at the ranch. What I didn’t know was that I was soon to be smack dab in the middle of a herd of cows with my camera in hand.:)
Jaxson was a Class of 2022 senior from Friendswood High School. He has always had a passion for outdoor activities. He is an avid hunter and fisherman so he wanted to incorporate his hunting dog, Daniel, his gun and the bluebonnet field on their ranch into his session. Jaxson was a member of FFA in Friendswood High where he raised his pig named, Boss Lady. Also a fantastic golfer, Jaxson was a member of the high school golf team. Always making us laugh, Jaxson is one of the kindest people I know!
One of the parts of being a Houston senior photographer that I love is that I get to photograph siblings. In this case, Jaxson’s twin sister, Sydney was a Class of 2022 RGP Spokesmodel. While her individual session was in Houston, we had to take the opportunity to photograph these twins together, funny faces and all. 🙂 At the end of the session, big sister Madison joined in on the fun! Jaxson absolutely adores his Juju and Poppy, so they joined us at the bluebonnet field for family portraits. Family is everything so it was an honor for me to capture these special moments as we all celebrated their amazing accomplishments.
Jaxson, thank you for letting me be a part of your senior year. This day was one of the best and the Reed Gallagher Photography team will always remember it! Wishing you the very best as you head off to Texas A&M University. See you at our next family get together!
