Three years ago when I first envisioned starting a Houston Senior Rep Team, I had no idea how much I would absolutely love it! I mean, I was only fifteen years old.  I knew that, on many levels, I would be able to relate to the seniors.  Senior year is filled with big decision and tough choices. As a young business owner, I was fully aware of that feeling. I knew I wanted to go beyond just providing beautiful photos that reflect one’s personality. I wanted to bring seniors across the Houston area together to cultivate and build new friendships and celebrate their accomplishments. The RGP Senior Rep Team is 16 seniors strong this year! More than I could ever have dreamed of. I am so grateful!!!

This year we continue to celebrate the 2021 Reed Gallagher Photography Senior Spokesmodel team. I have sixteen amazing, unique and talented seniors on my team from high schools across the Houston and surrounding areas.  I am not gonna lie! Some of the plans for this year’s team were put to rest due to Covid-19. I had to make adjustments to the program.  We canceled the traditional meet and greet.  Team shoots were with smaller groups. Nevertheless, we have had THE BEST time during our shoots. Friendships grew strong and I was able to document wonderful memories for this special group of seniors.  These seniors have been fabulous to work with and have gotten some fantastic images, not just of themselves, but with their besties by their side.

Below I am sharing all the fun we had for our winter team shoot at Uptown Park. In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, the girls were allowed to choose from an individual shoot or join in a small group. Cozy sweaters, colorful skirts and boots, jackets and hats! Each senior brought their own unique style and completely nailed their outfits. Roaming the grounds of Uptown Park went seamlessly. Lots of laughter and joy filled the air and friendships grew deeper. To me, that is the most significant part of why I have the RGP Spokesmodel Team.

I am looking forward to capturing more individual sessions for these seniors in March and April. Plus, one more group shoot! And it’s gonna be sooo good! We will finish the year with our college t-shirt + cap and gown shoot. Cue the confetti because these girls are ready to walk the stage to receive their diplomas. I am so proud of them!

Images are a powerful way to remind us of how truly sweet life is. Photographs are a precious way to hold tight to our memories and share them with others. Applications for the 2022 RGP Houston Senior Rep Team will go live at the end of March.
