Houston Wedding Venues

YAY!! YOU’RE ENGAGED! But now what? You just got the ring of your dreams and are ready to spend the rest of your life with your fiance…but aren’t sure where to start. 

One of the first steps you need to take is find a venue. So let me help you out! Here are FIVE houston wedding venues I have shot at that I love. These are hands down some of my favorite venues. From stunning bridal suites to perfectly lit chapels, all the features of these venues are amazing! They are all picture perfect and the best to photograph….and every bride and groom I have worked with at these venues has had a wonderful experience tying the knot.

The Farmhouse

From its stunning chapel to its breathtaking bridal suite, every feature is perfect. This is where classic meets modern! Located in Montgomery, Texas, The Farmhouse was built with so much intention. Every single detail was perfectly thought out. There are SO MANY spots for your first photographs as a married couple throughout the well manicured grounds. The chapel is stunning and the all white reception space is dreamy! The covered porch is the perfect spot for bridal party photos and first looks!  Their staff  is kind and helpful- every detail of your wedding day will be taken care of.  I have shot several weddings at The Farmhouse and each one was unique and magical! The Carriage House

The Carriage House, located just north of Houston, defines simplicity and elegance. Marry the person of your dreams in the all white Camellia Chapel or in the outdoor ceremony site under the chandelier arbor. The red door entrance to the chapel is iconic and a signature of The Carriage House. The brown barn reception space is both unique and spacious. The grounds are lovely with a multitude of photo ops for the couple. If a classic truck is your vibe, there is a 1950 Chevy that sits on the property for photographs. There is a swing that hangs from a gorgeous tree. Brides often have their florist install florals around the ropes, creating something magical! Everyone on their team is a delight. Addison Woods

Nestled in the woods, sits a family owned gem!!! One of the newest venues in the Houston proper, Addison Woods is where southern charm meets luxury! It is warm and welcoming from the moment you step on the grounds. Just imagine your first portraits as husband and wife under the gorgeous oak tree!! The chapel, with its white walls plus the perfect amount of natural light, is a photographer’s dream!! Every detail has been carefully thought out from the bridal suite, to the modern groom’s quarters, to the reception space. Deep in the Heart Farms

If you’re looking for 5+ star treatment, you will get that at Deep in the Heart Farms!!! If you want a place filled with stunning spots for portraits of the bride + groom and the bridal party, you have found your venue. Not to mention a super fun shot of you and your squad riding in the golf cart across the beautiful grounds. Located in Brenham, Texas, the chapel here is simply stunning! Getting ready in the bridal suite is a dream! Plus, you can get the most gorgeous bridal portraits on the winding staircase. The open reception space allows creativity when planning your perfect day and lots of room for a dance floor to celebrate your new life together. Olde Dobbin Station

This is one of my all time favorite wedding venues!! They have an AMAZING staff that is there for every wedding & you really get the kindest experience. They have both a chapel and a reception hall that have tons and tons of space. They also have the cutest stand alone bridal suite! Filled with tons of industrial elements & great spots for portraits, this is a one of a kind venue! Olde Dobbin Station is a top of the line Houston wedding venue & I can’t recommend it to someone enough. All around an awesome venue! You can see a wedding from Olde Dobbin Station here!
