I’m a photographer based in Houston, TX that specializes in sophisticated wedding and high school senior photography.
Senior pictures at Houston Arboretum! Yes, let’s go. The Houston Arboretum ranks at the top of the list of my favorite places to photography senior sessions. It also ranks at the top of RGP seniors preferred list too. Located just off of 610 North and Woodway, the Arboretum offers a variety of outdoor settings. There are fabulous pathways, a fantastic bridge, a boardwalk that sits around a pond and plenty of fields to choose from. Flowers were all a bloom during this fall session. The armadillos were scurry around as well. Always a challenge to see if we can find one to scurry across the pathway just at the right time to be in the photo. 🙂 We had so much fun during Kailey’s session and she had the best outfits!
Kailey is a senior at Glenda Dawson High School in Pearland, Texas. She is also a member of the Class of 2023 RGP Senior Spokesmodel Team. Kailey.has loved being a part of this team! Kailey has forged new friendships and enjoyed meeting girls from all over the Houston area. We have definitely had fun together. Kailey has played volleyball for 10 years now. Some of her favorite high school memories are attending regional tournaments with her teammates for three years in a row. A phenomenal player, Kailey will be playing volleyball for Ouachita Baptist University this fall in Arkansas. Let’s go, Tigers. Kailey, we are so excited and proud of you! Your new team is so lucky to have you.
Kailey has a more conservative, yet fun style! She loves to dress up and take pics. To make her senior pictures at Houston Arboretum unique, Kailey incorporated a banner flag from Ouachita Baptist University, pairing it with a denim skirt, white top and cowboy boots. It reflected her favorite southern girl look and her love for country music! Kailey paired a black and white skirt with a hot pink sweater from Altar’d State. Her white boots completed the look, showing off her bright and positive personality. To reflect her calmer side, Kailey wore a blush pink dress with her cowboy boots. Because she was organized and had all her outfits ready to go, we had plenty of time to roam all the wonderful areas of the Houston Arboretum.
Kailey claims that she is a little shy at first. But, since we already spent time together at our group shoots, she was open and willing to try a variety of poses that give great dimension to her gallery. Long drives during sunset and listening to music are some of her favorite things to do when she isn’t on the volleyball court playing or coaching and elementary team. It was fitting that her session was just before sunset! One of the things that I love about Kailey is her love for Jesus and how she spreads the word in whatever way she can. She definitely shines her light bright!
Kailey, congratulations on your senior year. It has been the best having you on the RPG Senior Rep Team and we are forever grateful! Big things are ahead for you! Wishing you the best as you finish out your senior year and head to Ouachita to play volleyball. See you in April for our rep team group shoot!
