Bridal portraits at The Creative Chateau in Houston, Texas are always stunning! Gold, European antique fixtures are found throughout the chateau. Floor to ceiling windows, grand staircases and a hand carve fireplace provide all the feels for an elegant bridal session. Now that Samantha-Anne and Robert have tied the knot, I can finally shared this gorgeous session.

Samantha-Anne wanted to add a little extra personality to her session. She had two dresses, a cowboy hat and a denim jacket with her new last name monogrammed on the back. We had blast going beyond the traditional bridal portrait poses!

Bridal Portraits Are Worth The Investment

While bridal portraits might be a southern tradition, they really are worth the time and investment. It is a great time for your trial hair and makeup run before your big day. You can actually see how your hair looks with your dress. Maybe you have it down, but decide after the bridal session, you prefer an updo. Or vice versa! It also allows you to assure your veil goes well with the hairstyle and is comfortable. This is also the perfect time to see your bouquet and how it goes with your dress. I have had many brides change the size of their bouquet after their bridal session. Maybe it was too small, or a little too big. The bride might decide to tweak the colors or add more of their favorite flower in the bouquet.

You also get gorgeous images like these!!! It is totally okay if you choose not to have a bridal session. I always allow time on your wedding day to capture your beauty and will schedule in a few minutes to take photographs of just the bride.
