A Sabine Bridge Senior Session

This Sabine Bridge senior session is one of my favorites! The location offers both a great city vibe and has some hidden gems with a more nature vibe. It’s one of my favorite spots to go to as a Houston senior photographer. This session was so special because Taylor was celebrating graduating from South Texas College of Law! What an accomplishment! 

Perseverance Required

Let me backtrack a little. Taylor reached out to me in the beginning of 2020. Life was fairly normal at that time. We had a session scheduled for the end of March. But, life took a turn and Covid-19 entered the picture. Taylor and I kept in touch and decided to reschedule for June. It was safe to have a session if we wore a mask and social distance. 

The City Shut Down

Two more challenges arose: Taylor had not received her cap and gown due to Covid delays and the school and The First Court of Appeals buildings were still closed. We decided to wait it out. Surely, things would reopen by the end of July. Nope….not gonna happen. It wasn’t until the middle of October that we had Taylor’s session….almost 6 months later. 

Sabine Bridge

When the day arrived for our Sabine Bridge senior session in downtown, I was so excited! I was FINALLY going to meet Taylor! I knew from our months of communication via text and email we were going to hit if off. She was so much fun and had the best personality…so sweet and bubbly.

While the buildings that meant the most to her were still closed, we had a blast roaming all around the Sabine Bridge and Eleanor Tinsley Park. Taylor nailed her session with her outfit choices: classic, trendy and festive.  She looked like an official lawyer in her graduation cap and gown. Everyone passing by shouted out CONGRATULATIONS which made it even more exciting. 

Taylor wanted to capture some photographs of her celebrating her graduation with her bottle of wine. We dashed over to the hill at Eleanor Tinsley park and the Houston skyline in the background was the perfect setting. Cheers to years of hard work!!

A Bright Future

Taylor is such a shining light and her Sabine Bridge senior session was so much fun! Her friendly smile makes you feel right at home!
