Paige Pechnik | Houston Arboretum Senior Session

University of Oklahoma you are getting a good one! Paige is one of my senior spokesmodels from the class of 2020! She is going to be a Boomer Sooner and I couldn’t be happier for her! Paige attends Cypress Ranch High School where she plays the flute in the marching band. Paige and I have had a blast together over the last year with a variety of photo shoots, from Hermann Park to Uptown Park to a special 2020 shoot at an indoor studio. For Paige’s individual senior session, she wanted to focus on graduation and celebrating all things OU! 

Fun fact about Paige: she is Canadian who loves hockey, reading, hiking and all things nature! Naturally, the Houston Arboretum was the perfect setting for her final session with RGP. The flowers were in bloom and so were Paige’s spirits. Her session was originally scheduled in March, just as Covid-19 hit, so we had to postpone. But months later, we had so much to celebrate! Houston was starting to gradually reopen, the sun was finally shining, and Paige was going to graduate high school and start her new journey in Oklahoma. 

Paige incorporated red and white balloons into her photoshoot with her favorite OU t-shirt. Often she sports leggings, vans and a comfy hoodie, but today Paige was going for a chic and subtle vibe which she totally nailed during this session. She wore a black dress, striped t-shirt and cute black strappy sandals. To commemorate her graduation, Paige brought her cap and gown. Paige didn’t just want the typical posed cap and gown photo you find in the yearbook. She wanted to add the great outdoors as her backdrop. We added a little movement, a few natural poses and a close up of her 2020 tassel to capture this special moment in time.
