I’m a photographer based in Houston, TX that specializes in sophisticated wedding and high school senior photography.
The app says to swipe right when you see someone of interest. So she did. Then he did. And the rest is history! Yep- Molli and Bradley met on Bumble! Their first date, in January 2019, was at Bradley’s favorite Mexican restaurant. He was excited to introduce Molli to his favorite place for queso and margaritas. Five hours later they were planning date number two and Molli knew Bradley was the man of her dreams.
Molli and I are actually family – she is my second cousin, so this wedding & Houston engagement session is so special to me! I remember my mom coming home one night from a family event and sharing how much she liked Bradley, how happy Molli seemed, and that this was true love! When Molli reached out about being a RGP bride, I was honored! Molli had been patiently waiting to find her prince charming and I was going to do everything I could to make this experience the best ever for her.
Bradley was very creative with his proposal to Molli. He knew he had to find a time to surprise her because she had been anticipating the proposal for quite some time. So on a Tuesday in March, he left Molli a series of notes in special spots throughout her house- the place where he told her he loved her, in the kitchen where they loved to cook, the place they greeted each other everyday. There were flowers and candles galore and Molli said she cried the entire time. Bradley got down on one knee and proposed. Molli said YES and they celebrated with a bottle of champagne, both so grateful they swiped right!
After Molli hired me as her photographer, we got their Houston engagement session on the books and started chatting all things wedding! I shared with her my favorite vendors and highly recommended a wedding planner. She hired My Event Angels and together we have all had so much fun discussing colors and florals and creating the perfect timeline for her wedding day.
Then enters our little enemy, Covid-19! Naturally with Houston under a stay at home order, we had to reschedule their engagement session. Then the order got extended and extended and it was time for them to make the tough decision: should they delay their wedding. And that they did. But Molli and Bradley took it all in stride, with grace and beauty. No matter the date, in the end, they would be married and that is what mattered.
What you see here during this Houston engagement session is such true love between a man and a woman. Their joy is contagious! They have that sparkle, that twinkle in their eyes when they look at each other. It is a never ending love that has endured Covid-19 and will continue to grow for years to come! Today would have been their wedding day but everyone here at RGP can’t wait to celebrate with you two in July at The Carriage House.
