At first I was completely against using TikTok for my business. I thought it was just another trendy app for teenagers that would come and go. But here are some quick facts the completely changed my mind:
– TikTok has 800 million active users worldwide. Not just users (there have been over 1.9 billion actual installations of the app), but ACTIVE users.
– TiKTok has the highest engagement rates per post of social media platforms. The average is around 8% per post while Instagram’s is just around 3% per post.
– 9/10 users use the app multiple times per day.
With this many users & engagement rates this high (they are over double the rate of Instagram’s), I had a total mindset change. I can’t predict the future & say TikTok will take over the social media marketing world. I don’t think Instagram is going anywhere at all, but what I can tell you is that TikTok is growing. And it’s growing FAST.
