I’m a photographer based in Houston, TX that specializes in sophisticated wedding and high school senior photography.
Senior photos in Houston at the North South tree line inside the museum district and Sabine Street in downtown are one of the most requested spots by Reed Gallagher Photography seniors. Emma, a high school senior from Glenda Dawson High School in Pearland, Texas is not just any senior; she’s a part of the RPG Class of 2024 Senior Rep Team. Emma knew these iconic locations would be a reflection of her journey and aspirations. With the lush surroundings of Houston, we had the perfect backdrop for some breathtaking outdoor shots at the North South tree line. Emma also wanted to incorporate the urban charm of Houston into her photos. The Sabine Street Bridge combined with the gorgeous Houston skyline added that cityscape touch. Of course, no senior session is complete without the classic cap and gown shots. Emma’s excitement for the future was beautifully captured in these timeless images.
When Emma applied for the Class of 2024 RGP Senior Rep Team, I knew she would be a perfect fit. She is an exceptional young woman who is actively involved in her high school and community. Emma has quite the resume when it comes to extracurricular activities. She dedicated three years to the high school band and is now passionately pursuing her interests in choir and theater. Emma is no stranger to giving back. She spent two summers volunteering at the Houston Museum of Natural Science as an Ecoteen, primarily working with kids in summer camps. Emma also volunteers with her Girl Scout troop and church and lends her babysitting skills whenever she can. Emma is a strong believer in commitment to the community and personal growth.
Beyond her academic commitments, Emma enjoys playing the piano and guitar. Whipping up delicious treats in the kitchen, and indulging in movie nights with friends are also favorite pastimes. While she describes herself as a bit shy and introverted initially, once you get to know her, her true, more talkative self shines through. It’s clear that her warm heart and kindness have left an impact on those lucky enough to know her well.
Emma was well prepared for her senior session and choose outfits that reflected her true personality. Her white dress allowed for free movement so we added in some spins and twirls. The chic pink, checkered dress showed off her more playful style. She also incorporated her love for the Texas Aggies with a pink t-shirt and denim jeans.
We always recommend our RPG seniors bring three outfits, with three different looks. Planning and preparing for your senior session is easy with the RGP Online Senior Style Guide.
