Houston Senior Photos

When rain interrupts your Houston senior photos at Sabine Bridge in Buffalo Bayou, you find another location where the sun is shining! And that is exactly what we did. This session started out sunny, and out of nowhere, with no rain on the radar, came a  downpour twenty minutes into Gigi’s session. Houston weather, as we all know, is unpredictable. But we did not give up! I checked the radar, and it looked clear up north, so we headed to the gorgeous Houston Arboretum to capture the nature vibe that Gigi wanted. With Uptown Park just five minutes away, we couldn’t resist finishing there to finish out the session for a unique city vibe.

Class of 2022 RGP Spokesmodel

Gigi is a senior at Cy Woods and is a member of the RGP Class of 2022 Senior Spokesmodel Team. Gigi brings so much energy to our team! Her outgoing personality and positive outlook on life is amazing! And, she is hilarious! When I asked Gigi why she wanted to be part of this team, she replied, “I want to have a special memory for my senior year. Being a club swimmer, I never get the opportunity to go out and meet new people and make new friends. Being a part of this team would let me hang out with new people and make new memories my last year at home!!” Those words mean the world to me because our team is all about meeting new people and building community.

 

The Houston Arboretum is a dream for Senior Photos

Gigi is a phenomenal swimmer. She earned a district title her sophomore year and plans to swim in college. She has a handful of colleges out there recruiting her, but she has not made her final decision yet. Using her talent and love for swimming, Gigi is a swim instructor at Fleet First. She teaches kids the basics of swimming like kicking and blowing bubbles underwater. Being an athlete, she also volunteers at a middle school basketball camp every summer. She is very active in her church community as well.

 

Uptown Park Senior Photos

When she isn’t in the pool, Gigi loves reading and spending time with her friends and family. Being from Chicago, she is a huge Bears fan. Gigi told me she can dead lift 220 pounds! Now that is impressive! Gigi brought her sweet mom to her session and we had so much fun exploring all three Houston locations. I love being able to snap a few photos of each senior with their mom at the end of a session.
