Brighton Abbey Wedding

Brighton Abbey Wedding Venue, in all its elegance, was the perfect venue when Elevate and Educate made the decision to design an Old World, European editorial shoot away from their home base in Houston, Texas. The team at Reed Gallagher Photography hosted six photographers on Brighton Abbey’s luscious grounds just North of Dallas in Aubrey, Texas.

Signature Flatlays

It is all in the details! Flatlays are an essential component of any editorial shoot by the Elevate and Educate team. One of our signature elements is a flatlay of the table setting with the menu card. Allowing for even more variety, we also included gorgeous ornate, pearl heels and a bottle of Rose paired with Waterford crystal flutes.

The invitation suite, designed by Invitations by Whitney, featured a custom, hand drawn crest with a variety of calligraphy and standard fonts, and that same crest and standard font scheme was included on the response card. Each item was printed on handmade, deckled-edge cotton paper, and the envelopes featured a variety of handmade, light blue and dusty rose colors with vintage stamps provided by the Little Postage House.  Incorporated were a variety of hand-painted standard spray roses, cabbage roses and Texas bluebonnets to feature the state flower. Pears, figs and apples were carried over into this design to continue the European vibe. 

 

 

The Tablescape inside Brighton Abbey

A dusty velvet linen covered the tablescape with elegant white etched plates inside the Brighton Abbey wedding venue.  The vibrant centerpieces and  bridal bouquet were filled with Golden mustard rose, caramel antique garden rose, peach lisianthus, butterfly ranunculus and pink helleborus. Pears, figs and apples accents completed the old world feel of this fabulous reception table. Greenery climbed the white wall giving the table an even more luxurious feel. 

 Breathtaking Grounds at Brighton Abbey

Flux Floral was inspired by the changing of the seasons and the transition from the warm browns of late winter into the lush vibrance of spring peaches and pinks. The breathtaking live oak tree in the Brighton Abbey garden was the perfect place to implement a loose garden style with a focus on movement and energetic color. Filled with pink and white frilled tulip, pink expression and peach shimmer roses and blooming jasmine vine, the bouquet and ceremony site were to die for. 

Stunning Bridal Gowns

The picturesque balconies and breathtaking staircase combined with a stunning event lawn space allowed for a timeless blend of nature and architecture. Evangeline Bridal brought our vision to life with handmade, elegant gowns designed by Lea-Ann Belter. The solo bride, wearing the Lexi gown, was indeed a vision. Rose organza jacquard paired with an expressive oversized bow, cascading over the floaty skirt set a romantic tone for this editorial. 

The bride and groom seemed to step out of a fairytale. The bride was mesmerizing in the Sophia wedding gown. The sculpted neckline, the mikado and rose print organza and full circle skirt was simply stunning. The groom wore a gray suit paired with a blush tie. 

Our brides looked like they stepped off the runway with hair and make up by Get Pretty with Kylie.

Wedding Cake Inspiration

A timeless and elegant white wedding cake with a modern twist and a hint of gold was designed by Sweet Things Bakery. The tower tier wedding cake had beautifully scalloped textured buttercream and was adorned with hand painted edible gold edges. 

Classic Getaway Car

This classic getaway car was a dream!! The beautiful white 1957 Chevy Bel Air was provided by The Great Escape Vintage Car. It fit perfectly with our Old World classic European vibe.
