McGovern Centennial Gardens Engagement Session

There is no better way to kick off the beginning of spring than a McGovern Centennial Gardens engagement session. When Kelli and Ryan chose this location, I was so excited. Houston was still recovering from the awful freeze, so even in March, spring had not sprung many places. But the gardens did not disappoint! Here, things were finally beginning to bloom.

 

Proposal Story

Kelli and Ryan met five years ago through a mutual friend and have been best friends ever since. Ryan planned a surprise proposal for Kelli that was magical!  For Christmas 2018, Kelli and Ryan surprised his two girls with tickets to Disney World during 2019 Thanksgiving break. What Kelli didn’t know was that Ryan would be proposing! On night two of their vacation, Ryan proposed in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom.  Kelli  was the only one that had NOOOO idea this was going to happen. Kelli, a lover of all things Disney, was completely surprised and felt like a princess. She absolutely said yes to her prince charming.

 

Kelli is an Assistant Community Director for W3 Luxury Living and has worked there for seven years.  Ryan is an outside sales representative for Ram Tool Construction Supply Co. When they aren’t working, they love spending time outside with family and friends. Going to concerts is one of their favorite things to do together.

 

I asked them what they were most looking forward to at their July wedding at Iron Manor. Kelli said, “Sharing the entire day with our family and friends. And, for Ryan to see me in my dress for the first time!!” Ryan stated he was looking forward to the reception and having a specialty keg of beer. I asked him what his favorite beer was, he replied, “Cold, free and open!” 🙂

Kelli and Ryan are truly the sweetest and kindest of people! Their genuine love for each other was so evident during the entire McGovern Centennial Gardens engagement session. I am so honored they chose me to document and capture their special day at Iron Manor later this summer. The entire team at Reed Gallagher Photography is blessed to be a part of their love story!
