Houston Senior Portrait Photographer—can I just say how much I love this part of my job! The class of 2021 seniors has been a total blast! My 2021 Senior Spokesmodel team has nailed every single session! Just look at the pretty in this session with Claire Valdez! 

A Love for Musical Theatre

It is no surprise that Claire chose to have her session at Bayou Buffalo in Downtown Houston. Claire has spent several years just across the highway performing in the Academy at Humphreys School of Musical Theatre with Theater Under the Stars. Claire loves her voice, acting and tap classes at HSMT! It is no surprise that Claire is a complete natural in front of the camera. 

Buffalo Bayou + Eleanor Tinsley Park

Claire’s bright personality was so easy to capture! She is so friendly and upbeat. We had great fun roaming Buffalo Bayou and Eleanor Tinsley Park.  Claire loves exploring new places so was excited to venture around, stopping at any moment when I found the perfect light. The Houston weather was an absolute dream on this day!

 

Bright and Trendy Outfits

Seniors should definitely draw inspiration from Claire’s outfits! Fun, bright and trendy–the perfect look! Claire’s favorite places to shop are: Lululemon, Free People, Altar’d State, Kate Spade and Adidas. 

Claire started her session in a floral dress that really popped in front of my camera. Dresses allow me to add flowing movement to your images. A twirl and a spin can give so much dimension to a photo. A quick change into a black skirt, sweater and booties gave Claire a chic look which highlighted her personality. Finally, casual jeans, bright top and tennis shoes gave her the freedom of movement so that we could capture some of her favorite dance poses. I highly recommend three outfits for every senior session so that all sides of one’s personality is showcased!

 

Class of 2021

Claire is a senior at Bridgeland High School. When she is not studying, Claire is in rehearsal or attending her classes at Theater Under the Stars. Claire is a member of the National Honor Society and CUBS, a mentoring program. Volunteering with Fellowship of Christian Athletes  and The National Charity League are some of her favorite endeavors.
