Downtown Houston Sessions Are The Best

As a Houston senior photographer, Downtown Houston senior sessions are some of my favorites! When Claire Reynolds reached out about a session with the Houston skyline, I was 100% on board. Claire, who recently relocated from Pearland to Dallas, drove down to Houston for her senior session over Labor Day weekend. Knowing she was traveling from four hours away, I was so thankful we had sunny skies.

Downtown Houston senior sessions offer so much variety. Huge plus! The Sabine bridge is such a great place to capture the Houston skyline. You get a real city vibe in your photos. If you wander more around the area, there are some hidden nooks and crannies that are fantastic portrait spots. You can capture the nature feel along the way to add more dimension to your session. And, let’s be serious here. There is also a bathroom with great air condition for outfit changes. Big bonus! It allows for quick changes and a little time to cool off from the Houston heat.

 

Bring All The Sentimental Props To Your Session

Claire is a senior at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas. She is excited to be a member of the class of 2021. She describes herself as classic, Southern and girlie. Her friends describe her as caring and thoughtful. Claire is on the Varsity Golf team and is a member of the National English Honor Society. Claire brought along her letter jacket and XXXX hat. It is always fun with seniors bring their favorite props and other sentimental and meaningful items. Seniors, always remember, this is YOUR session! I encourage you to bring anything that highlights your personality or a special moment or memory during your high school years.

Favorite Netflix Binge

When Claire in not on the golf course, she is volunteering in the Children’s Ministry at her church. She has a passion for attending mission trips every summer. Claire loves shopping at Fransceca’s or Vineyard Vines with her friends. The Office is her favorite Netflix binge and she loves playing with her dog too!

 

Mom and Friend Add to Your Senior Session

Claire’s mom and one of her friends joined her for the session. 10/10 recommend! It is always great to have mom around to help with outfit changes and fluff the hair. Senior year is such a special time in a family’s life, so when mom is in attendance, you bet I grab some mother daughter photos. And, of course, if you have a great friend in tow, we will get some poses of you and your bestie too!

Claire plans to study economics after graduation and has some great universities she is applying to. Everyone here at Reed Gallagher Photography wishes Claire the best year ahead. We know you are going to soar!
