Fine Art Wedding Inspiration | The Grand Texana | Houston Wedding Photographer
When my partner in crime, Aly Hester (a fellow Houston wedding photographer), and I decided we wanted to put together a branding shoot for our own websites and for Elevate and Educate, we knew The Grand Texana was the perfect place. The Grand Texana is a rustic barn with an all-white chapel and is the hidden gem of the Houston area. Since Aly and I have both photographed weddings there before, and I previously hosted a large styled shoot there, we both knew the lay of the land and we both had the same vision for this shoot: Romantic & Elegant. Another perk: we would get to see both Storyme and Anne and greet them with a big hug. They are just THE BEST, warm and welcoming, and we could not have been more excited for this day to come!
Our models, Ali and Brandon, killed this shoot! Not only were they fun and relaxed, they were truly the most genuine people, AND they are engaged. Ali is attending Occupational Therapy School and Josh is a marine vet who faithfully served our country and we could not be more proud of them. Ali was simply stunning in the gorgeous dress provided by Brickhouse Bridal and her hair and makeup, provided by Rogued and Radiant Beauty Company were flawless.
Mariela at Casa De flores Design knocked it out of the park with the bouquet and floral set up. The colors were so pretty and we loved it all!
Yellow Rose Calligraphy goes all out every single time! I was able to watch & see her process of melting the wax for the envelope seal and it was really cool. The love letter provided that extra touch. She also goes above and beyond for her clients!
This entire day was just a dream and such a wonderful way for Aly and I too work together and bring our visions to life. The weather was fantastic and we were able to head outside for the last part of the shoot and explore the romantic grounds at The Grand Texana.
