Blushed Wedding Inspiration | One on One Mentoring | Elevate and Educate

If you want to see the fluffiest bouquet you will ever see, check out the photos in this blog! This one on one mentoring session was the first to be held under my new business, Elevate and Educate! I got to spend the day sharing with Patti, a fellow wedding photographer, everything I know about building your photography business and using styled shoots to grow your business. While I could have taught for hours, this session was designed to hone in on the photographer’s specific business and styled shoot questions. Time flew by and before we knew it, it was time to head to the studio and share my approach to a styled shoot. From posing techniques, to flat lays, we covered a lot of ground. 

Amanda Bee Florals designed this gorgeous bouquet filled with a soft, blushed color palette. For this shoot, Amanda focused on over accentuating the depth as it is harder to capture in photos. The peonies were perfect to create the “fluffy” effect. The colors were simple with very little green so the focus could be on the flowers. When trying to achieve the modern, “garden” look, it is essential to use a variety of textures like garden roses, dahlias, phlox, spray roses, ranunculus and of course, peonies.

When we reached out to Kelly to collaborate with us, she knew right away this gorgeous sand/champagne colored dress, Eden, is from designer Le Papillon by Modeca, was the perfect dress for us.  The stunning lace and beading throughout give this gown a bohemian vintage vibe. The flutter sleeves add another boho feature to this luxurious flare and silhouette gown. The V lines in both the front and the back add a feminine touch to this dress. Our model felt like a million bucks and she looked like it too! Yellow Rose Calligraphy created this amazing invitation suite and it did not disappoint!
