Grace Quintanilla | A Downtown Session | Houston Senior Photographer

Grace! So full of life and energy with a smile that lights up a room! We had so much fun during Grace’s session in downtown Houston. She was accompanied by her mom and her adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Daisy. Between the cute dog and Grace’s confidence in front of the camera, I think just about everyone passing by stopped to say, “AHHHH how cute!” Sessions like hers are why being a Houston senior photographer is SO fun!!

Grace attends Texas Connections Academy and is heavily involved with musical theater. She has been a member of the Humphrey’s School of Musical Theatre for three years and that is where we first met! She has been in a number of shows and also involved at Hits Theater and The Performing Arts Project. Grace describes herself as artistic, introspective, compassionate and witty. 

When she isn’t at school or singing and acting on the stage you will find her writing poetry, attending poetry workshops and participating in poetry slams through Writers in the Schools. Grace loves listening to music in foreign languages and one of her favorite adventures included hiking through Macchu Picchu in Peru. 

Grace had the perfect outfits for her session and she has great style which she describes as Boho chic and romantic with a little bit of southern flair. And, of course, she loves a good pair of western boots to add some attitude to an outfit. You will find her shopping at Altar’d State, Anthropologie and Zara. Her secret: hidden gems at Marshall’s.

Grace has been traveling throughout the United States attending college musical theater auditions. She is so excited about all the opportunities that are ahead of her and hopes to attend her dream school in the fall. For now that school, she says, is still a secret!
