Lauren and Holton | A Hermann Park Engagement Session | Houston Wedding Photographer

We had a blast during Lauren and Holton’s engagement session at Hermann Park in Houston! Let’s just say: outfit goals! Lauren’s gorgeous maroon dress and Holton’s color coordinated tie made for the perfect combination. And of course they were sporting their true Aggie spirit in maroon! Before we started the session, Holton admitted he was not a big fan of being in front of a camera, but he nailed the entire session! So much love and joy between these two.

High school acquaintances, but not quite yet sweethearts, Lauren and Holton both attended The Woodlands High School but didn’t really know each other that well. It wasn’t until they met during their sophomore year at Texas A&M University that their love story began! Lauren, who describes herself as nosey and difficult to surprise, was completely caught off guard when Holton proposed in November of 2018. Lauren had family in town to attend an ATM football game and Holton knew they would be together the following day to have brunch at The Inn at Dos Brisas. After exploring the gorgeous grounds and the beautiful property, Holton got down on one knee! Lauren was so shocked and so excited. She said YES and couldn’t believe he pulled off the perfect surprise. There was no better way to share the news than with her family during brunch! Lauren and Holton are so excited about their upcoming wedding at The Farmhouse in Magnolia, Texas where they will have all their favorite people together to celebrate their love! When they aren’t working on wedding plans, Lauren and Holton love to travel, cook, play cards and watch sports together. Holton is a successful realtor in the greater Houston area and Lauren works at Sewell INFINITI in sales. They are so thrilled about their upcoming wedding and cannot wait to dance the night away with their family and friends. And cake – they are really looking forward to eating some cake!
