I’m a photographer based in Houston, TX that specializes in sophisticated wedding and high school senior photography.
So much love and joy was in the air during Laura and Andrew’s engagement session! They wanted their session at a place that meant so much to them, so I packed up my gear and headed to College Station! We met outside the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum and the fun began. The weather was a bit challenging with blustering winds, but we didn’t let that stop us. We started in a field just outside the library where there were gorgeous oak trees. We laughed so much as the wind was whipping Laura’s hair all around. Andrew just kept on smiling, even though her hair smacked him in the face a few times. 🙂
Andrew proposed to Laura on July 14th! He completely threw Laura off by recreating parts of their first date and then he took her to a brunch in downtown Houston where they had their first date. After a delicious brunch, Andrew whisked Laura to McGovern Centennial Gardens where he proposed!! But he didn’t stop there! After she said YES, he surprised her with an engagement party with their closest family and friends in attendance. Laura said it was the greatest day ever! Kudos to Andrew for going all out with his proposal!
After dancing in the wind, we walked around the library snapping photos and enjoying the beautiful grounds! Lovely stairs and a small lake area made for the perfect setting. Our final destination was downtown Bryan. We walked around and explored the quaint streets, capturing their love for each other with each step. As we came to our last spot, the weather gave in and it started to rain, just as we were finishing up.
Laura and Andrew are most excited about celebrating their relationship with all of their family and friends on their wedding day. They are so grateful for their friends and family who have always supported them. In their marriage, they are most looking forward to getting to do life together and serve alongside one another and pray that others see the love of Christ in them and through their marriage!
Laura and Andrew will be getting married at The Farmhouse in 2020. After they graduate from Texas ATM University in December, Laura will begin working as the High School Girls Associate at the 1463 Campus of Second Baptist Church and Andrew will be working in Geographic Information Science Technology! I can not wait to capture every moment for them at their wedding!
