When planning senior photos, one of the biggest questions seniors face is how to create a session that truly feels like them. The best senior portraits go beyond simply choosing a pretty location. They tell a story. They reflect your personality, interests, style, and the season of life you’re currently living. That is exactly what we set out to accomplish during Izzy’s senior session. As a member of the RGP Class of 2026 Senior Rep Team, Izzy brought creativity, confidence, and so much joy to every part of her session. By combining multiple Houston locations, including iconic spots for Senior Pictures Buffalo Bayou, we created a gallery that felt completely unique to her.
Izzy is the perfect example of why we encourage seniors to build a session around who they are. She dances more than 30 hours each week, participates in ballet competitions and performances, plays piano, volunteers in her community, and excels academically. She describes herself as creative, determined, and always ready for new experiences.
We began her session at the iconic tree line along North and South Boulevard in Houston’s Museum District. Wearing a pale blue sundress and sandals, Izzy looked effortlessly elegant as the sunlight filtered through the trees. The soft colors and natural surroundings beautifully complemented her graceful personality and dance background. These timeless portraits created the perfect start to a session designed specifically around her style and vision.
Our second stop brought us to a beautiful green space near Flora Houston. Here, Izzy changed into striped denim jeans and a pink polka dot off-the-shoulder top paired with chunky heels. This outfit captured her playful side and gave us the opportunity to use a variety of poses with unique backdrops.
One of the reasons we love creating Senior Pictures Buffalo Bayou and throughout Houston is the incredible variety available within a short distance. We photographed Izzy near a modern staircase, a fountain, lush greenery, and a bridge, creating multiple looks without ever feeling repetitive. Each location highlighted a different side of her personality while keeping the overall gallery cohesive and fun.
To finish the evening, we headed to one of our favorite locations, the Sabine Street Bridge. Few locations showcase Houston quite like this spot. The downtown skyline created the perfect backdrop for Izzy’s final outfit, a black and white polka dot dress paired with bold red heels.
The combination of city views, golden light, and Izzy’s confident personality made for the perfect ending to her session. Every detail reflected who she is, from her creative spirit to her dedication and love for performing.
Izzy, thank you for being such an incredible member of the RGP Senior Rep Team. We have loved having you on our team and watching your confidence shine throughout your senior year. Wishing you the very best as you soar into your next chapter!
