When planning your senior photos, one of the biggest questions is: where should we take them? As a Memorial Park senior photographer, I always tell my seniors that the best sessions aren’t just about pretty backdrops, they’re about choosing locations that reflect you. Your personality, your style, and this once-in-a-lifetime season deserve more than a one-spot session. Audrey’s senior session is the perfect example of how combining locations can create a gallery that feels dynamic, personal, and completely unforgettable
As a Memorial Park senior photographer, one of my favorite parts of the process is helping seniors choose locations that bring variety and personality into their session. Audrey had a vision for something unique, so we built a session that included three incredible Houston spots.
We started at the iconic North and South Boulevard tree line near the Houston Museum District, which offers that classic, timeless look. From there, we headed to Memorial Park near Flora Houston, a hidden gem full of depth and character. This location gave us everything from a modern staircase and textured bridge to lush greenery, winding pathways, and even a fountain. Each spot added a different feel to her gallery, allowing her personality to shine through in a variety of ways.
One of the biggest advantages of working with a Memorial Park senior photographer is the ability to create a session that feels like multiple experiences in one. Audrey’s two-hour session allowed us to move seamlessly between locations and capture a wide range of looks.
Her outfit choices were the perfect complement to each setting. She started in a long pink floral dress paired with white tennis shoes, which brought a soft, feminine feel to the greenery and open spaces. Then she switched into denim jeans and a black top, giving us a more relaxed, modern vibe that worked beautifully with the architectural elements at the Sabine Street Bridge, capturing the Houston skyline as the sun began to set. This final location added that bold, city feel and gave her gallery a strong, confident finish.
At the end of the day, your senior session should feel like you. That’s why working with a Memorial Park senior photographer who helps guide location choices is so important. It’s not just about taking photos, it’s about telling your story.
Audrey’s session was full of variety, movement, and personality, and that’s exactly what made it so special. By choosing locations that offered both natural beauty and modern elements, we were able to create a gallery that feels fresh, fun, and completely unique to her.
