I’m a photographer based in Houston, TX that specializes in sophisticated wedding and high school senior photography.
When Katie, a senior from FHS and a proud member of the Reed Gallagher Photography Class of 2026 Senior Rep Team, shared her vision for fun, outdoor, personality-packed senior photos, we knew exactly where to take her. The session began under the iconic, tree-lined canopy of North and South Boulevard, one of Houston’s dreamiest portrait spots. With golden sunshine peeking through the branches and that perfect fall glow on full display, Katie lit up the entire location with her bubbly personality and warm smile. After capturing those classic Houston treeline shots, we headed straight to the Sabine Street Bridge for her Senior photos Buffalo Bayou. The skyline views, open walkways, and soft breeze made it the perfect playground to showcase her joyful, fun-loving energy. Every photo from my camera radiated who Katie is… kind, vibrant, and full of life.
Katie came to her senior photos Buffalo Bayou with the best kind of energy: equal parts sweet, outgoing, and excited. She’s passionate about teaching and absolutely loves working with kids. As part of her school’s Ready, Set, Teach program and a dedicated member of Blue Crew, Katie pours her heart into the people she cares about. Her personality shines through just the way she describes herself: bubbly, shy at first, but totally outgoing once she’s comfortable. It’s no surprise that she wanted to join the RGP Rep Team. Dressing up, getting pampered, and capturing memories that she can look back on for years felt like the perfect way to celebrate her senior year. By the end of the session, she was laughing, twirling, and owning every shot — proof that the right location and the right photographer create pure magic.
Katie’s outfit choices were perfect for senior photos at Buffalo Bayou and gave her gallery tons of variety. Katie started in light blue jeans, a pink blouse, and pink shoes, a cute and flexible combination ideal for posing along the treelined boulevard. She then switched into a cream sweater with a denim skirt and cream sneakers, accessorized with an adorable hand-made sign featuring her name and “2026.” For her final look, Katie wore a flowing coral sundress from Altr’d State, which was perfect for twirling, walking, and frolicking through the golden field near the bridge — the photos practically sparkle! To top it off, Katie invested in professional hair and makeup with Honey Bee Loveley, giving every image that polished, photo-ready glow that elevates an entire session. With perfect styling, dreamy locations, and Katie’s joyful spirit, this senior session was the definition of fun, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
Congratulations, Katie, on an amazing senior year! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see you chase your dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. It has been such a joy having you on the RGP Rep Team, and we’re excited for all the fun still ahead this year. More memories, more laughter, and more incredible photos to come!
