I’m a photographer based in Houston, TX that specializes in sophisticated wedding and high school senior photography.
Meet Elliana, a Class of 2026 senior at George Ranch High School and one of our amazing Reed Gallagher Photography Senior Rep Team members. We had the best time capturing her senior pictures at Buffalo Bayou on a gorgeous fall afternoon filled with sunshine, laughter, and plenty of personality. We started Ellie’s session at the iconic North and South Boulevard treeline, one of Houston’s most beloved portrait spots. The sunlight peeked perfectly through the canopy of trees, creating that soft, glowy light we love for fall senior sessions. From there, we made our way downtown to Buffalo Bayou Park and the Sabine Street Bridge, where Ellie totally owned the moment with the Houston skyline as her backdrop. The mix of nature, architecture, and city energy made this session the perfect combination of classic Houston beauty and modern flair.
Ellie is the kind of senior who lights up a room. She describes herself as outgoing, independent, and always ready to try something new. That energy showed up in every photo. At GRHS, she’s deeply involved in student life, serving as the Vice President of Service for NHS and participating in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. After transferring from a private school, Ellie has loved making new friends and finding her place through athletics and clubs. Her bright personality and confidence made her session effortless and fun! Ellie wanted to join the RGP Senior Rep Team because she loved the idea of dressing up, connecting with other girls, and creating memories that go beyond photos. Her love of fashion and her genuine joy made this session a photographer’s dream!
For her Buffalo Bayou senior pictures, Ellie brought three stunning outfits that fit the setting perfectly. She started in a white dress from Hello Molly paired with brown cowboy boots, a timeless Southern look that popped beautifully against the North South treeline located in the Houston Museum District. Ellie also brought along her senior graduation cap and gown, celebrating how far she’s come and what’s next to come. Her second look was pure magic: a flowing pink and blue floral sundress from Hazel and Olive that caught the breeze as she walked through a field of flowers at Buffalo Bayou Park. She ended her session with a modern, polished look: white pants and a black top, perfect for those sleek skyline shots on the Sabine Street Bridge. Each look showcased a different side of Ellie’s personality — confident, joyful, and adventurous. With the perfect Houston skyline, the soft fall light, and Ellie’s radiant smile, her session was everything we love about capturing seniors in the city.
Congratulations, Ellie, on your senior year! We’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see all that’s ahead for you.
