When Brett, a senior at Cypress Creek High School, reached out for his senior photos, he knew exactly what he wanted — a modern, city-inspired session that captured the Houston skyline. We were excited to bring his vision to life with senior photos Post Houston, one of downtown Houston’s most innovative and dynamic spots. Post Houston isn’t just known for its incredible city views, it’s also a cultural hub filled with food vendors, artisan markets, and even live concerts. Brett chose Post Houston because it’s a place where he often hangs out with friends, exploring the local scene, grabbing great food, and soaking in the city’s energy. It was the perfect backdrop to capture this exciting season of his life while showcasing the places that feel like home to him.

Modern Senior Photos Post Houston

Post Houston offers a wide variety of photo opportunities, both indoors and outdoors. Inside we found some incredible spaces including a vibrant green and white staircase that pops on camera, a modern brown staircase with sleek architectural lines, and a cozy brown leather couch surrounded by lush green shrubs. These all came together to create the cool and relaxed vibe Brett wanted. Upstairs on the rooftop, the space opens up to a five-acre park with benches, beautiful trees, and panoramic views of the iconic Houston skyline. We made sure to explore every corner of the rooftop, capturing Brett against the city backdrop that made his senior photos uniquely personal and stylish.

Brett brought four outfit changes to his session, giving us a great variety of looks that captured different sides of his style. He started with a classic combo of jeans and a plaid shirt, perfect for that laid-back, approachable vibe. Then, he repped his future with a college t-shirt, a nod to his next chapter at Rice University. For a clean and casual look, he chose a white t-shirt layered with a zip-up jacket, great for the relaxed city atmosphere. Lastly, Brett wore a white sweater with a bold stripe detail, paired with jeans, which added a crisp, polished touch to his collection of portraits. With each outfit, we explored new backdrops at Post Houston, from sleek indoor staircases to the rooftop skyline, ensuring every shot felt fresh and true to him.

Senior Photos Incorporating Drum Sticks

What made Brett’s session even more meaningful was how we incorporated his passions. Brett is actively involved with the Cypress Creek High School drumline, where he plays the tenor drums, so of course, we included his drumsticks as a personal touch in some of the photos. He’s also a member of the National Honor Society, balancing academics with a busy social life that includes playing basketball with friends, going to the gym, exploring downtown restaurants, and thrifting for unique finds. After graduation, Brett will be attending Rice University, where he plans to study computer science — an exciting new chapter ahead!
