Amber, a senior at Dawson High School and a proud member of the RGP Class of 2025 Senior Rep Team, brought her radiant personality and unique style to her senior portraits in Houston, Texas. Amber’s session was extra special for us at Reed Gallagher Photography because we had the pleasure of photographing her sister’s senior portraits in 2022. Amber wanted a variety of shots featuring both nature and cityscapes, so we started at the iconic North South Boulevard outside Houston’s Museum District. The tree-lined streets and classic Houston charm provided the perfect backdrop for her vibrant smile. From there, we headed to Sabine Street, on the outskirts of downtown, to capture the city’s urban energy. Amber’s love for variety and her playful personality shone through every pose.

Amber is an active and passionate student, deeply involved in Dawson High School’s theatre and choir programs. Her talents extend to musicals, all-state choir competitions, and participation in the Houston Grand Opera High School Voice Studio program. When she’s not performing, Amber enjoys watching Modern Family, The Office, and Dancing with the Stars. Though her schedule doesn’t leave time for a paying job, she dedicates herself to volunteering and is a proud member of five honor societies. After high school, Amber plans to major in vocal performance and explore potential careers in music education or speech therapy, all while continuing her love for theatre. Describing herself as positive, compassionate, hardworking, and sometimes stubborn, Amber brings warmth and charm to every room she enters—and every photo she takes!

Chic Senior Portraits Houston Texas

For her senior portraits, Amber showcased her chic, coquette style with thoughtfully selected outfits. She started with a playful pink skirt paired with a gray sweater and white tennis shoes, embodying her fun-loving spirit. Her second look, a white sundress with a blue floral pattern, captured her elegance, while a hot pink dress added a bold, vibrant touch. Amber also made time for a denim jumper with a long-sleeve white tee, as well as shots in her letter jacket and graduation cap and gown. Amber says she joined the RGP Senior Rep Team because she admired the stunning photos of her friends and wanted a photographer who could help her commemorate her senior year. Her organized approach and vibrant smile made this session a joy to capture. “The pictures turned out better than I could have imagined, and the experience made my senior year even more special.” “I want to be an RGP Senior Rep because I absolutely love the results of my friends’ photos. I want to go through my senior year having the reassurance that I will always be able to commemorate these special times with stunning pictures from a photographer who is personable.”
