Here at Reed Gallagher Photography, we cherish the opportunity to capture the unique personalities and stories of high school seniors as they journey towards graduation.  In this blog post, we introduce you to the radiant Jeslyn, a member of the Class of 2024 Reed Gallagher Photography Senior Rep team.  Jeslyn’s infectious laughter, love for semi-formal and comfy looks, and deep appreciation for life’s beauty created a Houston Arboretum senior session filled with joy and vibrancy.

Beauty at Houston Arboretum Senior Session

Jeslyn, affectionately known as Jessie, is a young woman who loves to laugh and smile. Her zest for life is truly contagious, and her positivity is the embodiment of her character. Jessie’s unique fashion sense perfectly blends comfort and semi-formal styles, allowing her to effortlessly transition from cozy jeans, canvas shorts, or leggings paired with cardigans, sweatshirts, and oversized shirts to chic dresses, often matched with her favorite Converse or flats for special occasions.

The Houston Arboretum, with its lush landscapes and vibrant flowers, was the ideal setting for capturing her unique personality. The Arboretum never looked so good!  Everything was in full bloom, showcasing a breathtaking array of flowers, including the radiant sunflowers.

Houston Senior Makes Connections

Beyond her love for music and laughter, Jessie’s passion for making connections is truly remarkable. She strives to be friends with everyone she meets, creating a positive and inclusive environment wherever she goes. She’s also an accomplished clarinet player and a proud member of the Glenda Dawson High School band, where her musical talents shine. In her free time, she generously volunteers at her church to help lead children’s worship, embodying the spirit of giving back and fostering a sense of community. Jessie’s vibrant personality and dedication to building connections made her Houston Arboretum senior session a truly joyful and unforgettable experience.

When we asked Jessie about her motivation to become an RGP Senior Rep, her response was as heartwarming as her smile. “I want to be an RGP Senior Rep because I think it would be a really cool opportunity for nice photos, and I believe it would be a great way to put myself out there more. I’ve also scrolled through Instagram, and the photos I’ve seen on your page are really awesome!!!!” Her enthusiasm is as bright as her laughter.

Looking ahead, Jessie has ambitious plans to study nursing at either Texas A&M University or Baylor University. Her journey is filled with laughter, positivity, and a deep appreciation for life’s beauty. We were honored to capture her essence in the serene landscapes of this Houston Arboretum senior session, reflecting her love for nature and her vibrant personality. Congratulations, Jessie on your senior year! We are looking forward to more fun and laughter at our upcoming group shoot!
