I’m a photographer based in Houston, TX that specializes in sophisticated wedding and high school senior photography.
There are so many wonderful places for outdoor Houston senior photography! An all time favorite for the Reed Gallagher Photography team is a Houston senior session that combines North & South Boulevard and Sabine Street Bridge. When seniors request this location combo, we start at the gorgeous oak tree line nestled in a residential neighborhood near the museum district. Anytime of year, this area does not disappoint. From here, we travel about fifteen minutes to the Buffalo Bayou area on Sabine Street. Here, you not only capture the stunning downtown Houston skyline, but there are other tree lines, staircases and arches that offer both a nature + city vibe. Rylee envisioned her senior session to be bright, colorful and fun. It was most definitely all of these!
Rylee is a senior at George Ranch High School and a member of the Class of 2023 RGP Senior Rep Team. We were so excited when Rylee applied for the spokesmodel team with her twin sister. I immediately envisioned each having their own unique individual session, but also tons and tons of images of the two of them together! Nothing better than having a surplus of photos for #seniorsunday with your bestie who is also your twin sister! Rylee shared that she was excited for this opportunity not only to share with her sister, but to branch out and meet new people and make new friends. We have already had so much fun together and have more exciting things planned for the team for 2023.
Rylee is a member of the George Ranch High School Varsity Golf team. She is also a co-founder of the GRHS Cultural Cooking Club, and a member of the National Honor Society. When she isn’t studying or at a golf tournament, she works as a golf instructor at George Ranch Golf Academy. She is the best instructor with her kind and joyful personality. Organized and driven, Rylee desires to earn her degree in architecture
Rylee was very organized with her outfits that reflected her bright spirit. She new exactly what she wanted for her session and which outfits she wanted at each location. If you are a senior and unsure of your vision, do not fear. The team over here at RGP is ready to help you and guide you to find just the right location and assist with outfit selections. Every RGP Senior receives an online senior style guide jam packed with tips and trips to prepare for your session and assist with choosing outfits.
Rylee’s favorite color is pink so she incorporated that into her first outfit. She paired cowboy boots and a hat with her pink dress and it was sheer perfection. Adding a hat to your senior session provides an extra element of fun! White jeans with a baby blue blouse allowed for flexibility to create some photos utilizing both seated and kneeling poses. This variety adds great dimension to your gallery of images. Finally, with sleek black leather pants and a cream, ruffled shirt, we created photographs with an editorial vibe on the Sabine Street Bridge with the downtown Houston Skyline as the backdrop. Rylee completely nailed her session and recommends shopping at the following places: Impeccable Pig, Lily Rain, Zara, I Just Have to Have It, and These Three Boutique.
Rylee, thank you for being such an integral part of the RGP Class of 2o23 Senior Model Team. Your smile brightens up the room and it has been such a joy to get to know you. Wishing you the best as you finish your senior year and head off to pursue your architect degree. See you in April for our college t-shirt group photoshoot!
