Fall Olde Dobbin Station Wedding

A Fall Olde Dobbin Station wedding, another wedding I will never forget! The moment I met Alyssa and J.C., I just knew there was something special about them. If there is one word that describes them, it is laughter! We laughed together through their engagement session, and there was so much joy and laughter on their wedding day.

A Fall Olde Dobbin Station wedding is always one of beauty! Located in Montgomery, Texas, the venue itself is filled with unique structures and architecture that gives it an eloquent and historical appeal. The gorgeous grounds offer many locations for portraits. Alyssa and J.C.’s wedding was modern, timeless and refined! The team at Reed Gallagher Photography was so honored to be a part of their special day!

First Looks 

Alyssa looked like a princess in her wedding gown from Brickhouse Bridal. First looks will forever be my favorite!! As Alyssa twirled around, with her dress flowing, her bridesmaids shed tears.  Her Dad was grinning ear to ear when he first saw his baby girl.

Alyssa and J.C. will always cherish those moments during their first look. Gifting RGP couples vow books by B Gregory Design, is something that brings me joy! Couples can write their vows and forever have them as a keepsake. As Alyssa and J.C. read their vows to each other, I was able to capture and preserve those moments in time.  

Olde Dobbin Station Wedding Bridal Party

Because Alyssa and J.C. chose to do a first look, we were able to complete a few couple portraits and bridal party photos before the ceremony. Alyssa and J.C. are sweet, fun and energetic so this was a total blast for everyone! J.C. gifted his groomsmen with matching socks. The guys lined up for a sock photo and they definitely let their personalities shine!

Fall Olde Dobbin Wedding Ceremony

 The Olde Dobbin chapel was once a pump house for nearby trains steam in the late 1800’s. It has so much character, thus is a favorite among brides. With natural light beaming in, it is a lovely ceremony space. Rust florals paired with eucalyptus colors filled Alyssa’s bouquet by Monica Brides. With a beautifully decorated cross, Alyssa walked down the aisle to the man of her dreams. Sentimental details were scattered throughout the ceremony space. 

Meet Mr. & Mrs. Fishback

After a few family portraits, I whisked Alyssa and J.C. away for their first portraits together as a married couple! They were beaming with joy and pride! Walking with them throughout the grounds and documenting their love for each other is another favorite part of my day.

Olde Dobbin Wedding Reception

After making their grand entrance as Mr. & Mrs. J.C. Fishback, it was time for the party to begin. My Event Angels did a wonderful job decorating the reception space. The gorgeous white cake with gold etching was from Bavarian Cakery Houston. J.C. had his very own Reese’s cake! And there was a Smore’s bar!!  After momentous toasts were made and dinner was served, J.A. Entertainment kept everyone on the dance floor!

An Olde Dobbin Wedding Sparkler Exit

 After a private dance, the night ended with a sparkler exit.
