Tatiana Outdoor Branding Session | Houston, Texas

It is always such a treat when another photographer reaches out to me for a mini session! I had such a blast meeting Tatiana and her husband, Juan. Tatiana, owner of Tatiana Blanco Photography, lives in Boston and has an amazing wedding business. Little did she know when she came down to visit her husband, who was completing a medical fellowship, she would be here for several months rather than the planned seven days. Covid hit just as Tatiana arrived, so she had the opportunity to reside in Houston for a few months. She reached out to me for both outdoor and indoor branding mini sessions. 

Tatiana’s outdoor mini session occurred on a relatively cooler Houston night with low humidity, always a pleasant surprise. But even more special was that Juan accompanied her. So, YEP, why not, let’s have a little husband and wife shoot too! Tatiana arrived with a hat and denim jacket-the best props ever. She pulled together two outfits from the few clothes she brought for her “one week” stay.  And, WOW, the all white outfits were just perfect! Not only did Tatiana nail her individual portraits, she and Juan were simply stunning! Definitely a forever love connection there.

Tatiana and Juan absolutely love to travel and  have been all over the world. They have a unique tradition: they get portraits done in every city they visit. Can you even imagine all the gorgeous prints on the walls in their home from their travels? I do hope they print some from this session and remember all the great times they shared in Houston, Texas, despite the pandemic. I think the year of 2020 is one we will never forget.
