Fall Family Sessions | Houston Hermann Park

This day was a perfect fall day! The air was crisp and the sun was shining. Two family mini sessions and one maternity session filled with love and laughter.

I was super excited to photograph the Armel family! They found me through Instagram and we first met in October of 2018 for a family mini session. One thing about the Armel family I can tell you: their outfits are always picture perfect. Bold, vibrant colors that blend so well together. Not to mention they are all gorgeous! We had a wonderful session and it was such a delight to see Amzy run and play. He was a natural in front of the camera. But the biggest surprise, Sarah was expecting! Months later I received a message from Sarah asking if I would shoot a newborn session in their home with sweet baby Inez. And so I did!  Inez: angelic, sweet smile, sparkling eyes, filled with light! What joy she will bring to this world! So this day was pretty special for me to be a part of their journey and photograph their growing family again, a year later has been such an honor. They made it so easy to capture their love for each other.

The Blankenship family is also very special to me! I first did their family shoot in the fall of 2018 and from the moment we met, I know this family was pretty incredible! Benton was just six months old and initially a little camera shy. But by the end of that session, he was all smiles. When his Daddy threw him up in the air, the biggest grin came across his face. Sheer delight! So when this session began, almost a year later, I knew we were going to have to recreate that photo. And boy did we! Bennett kept wanting more and more throws. You bet we kept on going! Chyna also revealed a little secret: she was expecting! I cannot wait to see this family grow and continue to capture their milestone moments!

My final session was with Chelsea and Ethan who are expecting their first baby. This is such an exciting time in their life so I was thrilled to capture their love for one another. Chelsea’s floral dress accented her little bump and her radiant glow. Ethan was just so proud of his growing family! I look forward to meeting their baby one day soon.
